For Private weight management clinics, GLP-1 services & digital health providers
GLP-1 medications suppress appetite as a way to lose weight, but they do not address a person's relationship with food.
For people who eat in response to stress, anxiety, or emotional pain, the medication changes the symptom, but not the root cause. The Eating Freely framework gives your service the clinical tools to address both.

The WHO, JAMA, and NICE are aligned: GLP-1 prescribing should be accompanied by structured psychological and behavioural support. In practice, most GLP-1 services are not delivering this. The reason is simple, widespread medication use rolled out before the World Health Organisation and others put the guidelines in place. Now services are struggling to put the necessary clinical framework, trained staff, and the patient-facing tools in place.
The consequences are predictable. Patients who use food to manage emotional distress continue to do so, even with appetite suppression. Medication tolerance is harder to maintain without support. Discontinuation rates are higher. Weight regain after stopping medication is faster and more significant. And patients feel failed (again) by a system that addressed their body but not their mind. It's time to move on from weight loss as the total solution - that never worked!
A University of Pennsylvania AI analysis of over 400,000 Reddit posts from GLP-1 users found that emotional eating and psychological distress were among the most commonly reported challenges - persisting despite the medication. It is the central unmet need in GLP-1 care, and research backs this up.

Option 03
For services building long-term internal capability.
The Eating Freely programme was developed over 16 years of clinical practice, drawing from both patients and professionals' experiences in practice. The programme is deliverable online, in person, to individuals and groups, digitally and through personal support. The Eating Freely programme was independently evaluated by Leeds Beckett University in a three-phase research programme and the positive outcomes are now in print.
The systematic review and meta-analysis, published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2025), is the first study of its kind to calculate the impact of specific behaviour change techniques on emotional eating outcomes. The feasibility pilot showed statistically significant reductions in emotional eating and uncontrolled eating, with improvements sustained at one-month follow-up.
For private sector organisations, this means you are integrating a clinically validated model and can reference an independent evidence base when communicating with patients, commissioners, or insurers.
Reduction in emotional eating scores
The Eating Freely framework is designed for organisations already delivering weight management or GLP-1 services that want to add a validated psychological support component. It is particularly well suited to:
Prescribing or supporting GLP-1 medication and wanting to offer structured psychological support that improves patient outcomes, reduces discontinuation, and differentiates your service.
Delivering weight management or GLP-1 support who need a clinically credible psychological framework - either as a white-labelled programme or as a licensed component of your own service.
For employees who are dealing with weight-related health concerns, stress eating, or GLP-1 side effects in the workplace, and need a structured, evidence-based support pathway.
That want to offer members or students an internationally approved, evidence-based training in ethical weight management and GLP-1 psychological support, and/or specialist training in emotional eating and binge eating disorder.
Whether you want to train your team, offer your patients a structured programme, or embed the framework across your organisation - let's talk.
