Eating Freely™ Meditation

- Self Compassion Meditation -

This is the fifth and final meditation in your series of five, and it is called ‘Self-Compassion’. This meditation begins to put the final piece of the puzzle in place, helping both your body and mind truly understand the importance of self-care and self-compassion. When you treat yourself better – ie speak to yourself more kindly in your mind – you will choose to nourish instead of punish yourself with food. This meditation brings you right back around to what we shared with you at the beginning of the program – the Three F’s – which should make a LOT more sense to you now you are into the final stretch of the program.

  1. Feed yourself properly
  2. Forgive yourself quickly
  3. Focus on health and wellbeing, not weight loss, as your goal.

I encourage you to continue using them as you wish, whether that is first thing in the morning, during the day or at bedtime. Mix them up and rotate how you listen to them, and you can always listen to more than one a day if you know they are helping you. 

If you are using a mobile phone or tablet you should be able to download the meditation directly to your device so you can access it whenever you wish. 

If you are using a laptop or PC for your program, you can download the meditation and email it to yourself. Then just open that email on your phone or device and download it from there.

These meditations have been created especially for Eating Freely™ by Helen Bradley, a trained Eating Freely Practitioner and Hypnotherapist. 

Listening to each meditation daily, nightly or at a minimum 3-4 times a week will help everything you are learning and doing to go deeper. 

As you learned in the Neuroscience sessions, part of the work you are doing is creating new neural pathways, or ways of thinking – about both food, and yourself.  Our unique meditations help this to happen.
